Ranger U vs PSEO
Post-secondary enrollment options might look like an attractive way for students to begin collecting college credits, but leaving high school early can come at the expense of many great high school experiences. Ranger U opportunities allow students to earn those college credits while remaining in high school and experiencing all of the leadership and social opportunities they may lose if they leave the high school campus. Students enrolled at a Participaing Institution will have access to the high school throughout the school day and access to use the Media center for technology needs. Students are also able to continue their co-curriculuar activities and leadership commitments through clubs and groups. Yearly updates and information in regards to PSEO enrollment will be shared with students and families through the registration process. Students will gain needed information through Ranger Connect, while families will gain insight on parent registration evenings. Students interested in PSEO should make an appotinment with their dean and Participaing Institution to stay up to date on application and registration deadlines and their core graduation requirements.
